The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requires that I disclose any relationship I have between a product manufacturer and service provider when I write about a product or service.

Public Relations
Although some of the items reviewed on Your Gift Finders are purchased, I do accept products for review from brands and public relations representatives. Receipt of a product does not constitute a contract for a published review of the product. While Your Gift Finders attempts to accept only products of interest, I do not guarantee a favorable review. Reviews are done based on each reviewers honest assessments of the products and content is not pre-approved by PR representatives or brands. Products that impose review limitations will not be accepted for review. All items received from brands and PR representatives are disclosed as such either by using the words “was sent to me” or with a “Disclosure” label and link at the top of the post linking back to this page.

Advertorial Posts
Your Gift Finders carefully considers advertorial or sponsored posts and are they are decided upon on a case by case basis. All advertorial posts and sponsored posts that recommend a product or store will have “Disclosure” clearly labeled at the top with a link back to this disclosure page. Sponsored posts may include an advertisement, but have no affect on the content. E.g. the content is not recommending the product, store, or item in the advertisement. Such posts may or may not be labeled as sponsored.

Affiliate Links, Advertising, Existing Relationships
Your Gift Finders makes use of affiliate links in reviews and blog posts. A commission is earned when a product is purchased using such a link if a reader completes a purchase. My site is also supported by paid advertisements directly from the advertiser.
